Honestly didn’t want to write this ad. The Cayman has been the most enjoyable car I’ve owned and the only reason she’s going is because I need something with proper boot space and room for the growing family.
I bought this car because I wanted something that drove the way a Porsche should, then I quietly went and made it drive even better. Full list of what’s been done:

The suspension is the bit I’m proudest of. Plenty of owners throw money at coilovers and end up with a car that’s miserable on real roads. The Öhlins with the Sutton links is the combination that actually works, sharper turn-in, properly planted, and still civilised enough that you’ll happily drive Hobart to Launceston without needing a chiropractor on the other end.
Condition inside and out is genuinely hard to fault. Garaged its whole life with me, never tracked, never sat out in the weather. Interior still presents like new. No stone chips on the front, no kerb rash, no marks on the Alcantara. I’ve been careful with her and it shows.

982 MY18 Cayman Coupe 2dr PDK 7sp 2.0T Introduced locally in 2006, the mid-engine, two-seat Porsche Cayman coupe got a serious midlife update in 2016. At the core was the swap from naturally-aspirated boxer six-cylinder power to two turbocharged four-cylinders displacing 2.0 and 2.5 litres producing 220kW/380Nm and 257kW/420Nm (in the "S" version) respectively. To mark the change, '718' was appended to the name, linking back to the four-cylinder 718 model of the 1950s and 60s. The mid-mounted engine gives the Cayman tremendous balance that enables the full potential of its raucous four-cylinder turbo to be explored and enjoyed via either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK auto-shifter.
