My 2017 Maserati Ghibli S for sale – living proof that you don't have to choose between everyday practicality and heart-pounding performance. This is a car that turns heads for all the right reasons without showing off and devours highway on-ramps with equal enthusiasm.
The last of the Ghibli line that has the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 — and this is no ordinary powerplant. The engine was co-developed with Ferrari engineers at Maranello. Yes, that Ferrari. The Ghibli S shares its engine architecture with some of the most celebrated performance cars on the planet, and honestly what an engine it is. I’ve driven the V8 version of the Ghibli and this one sounds so much nicer!
The car has plenty of horsepower and torque for such a big car. It is purely a grand tourer but carries so much class and elegance, yet a sport focused design with twin exhaust pipes. Maserati engineers tuned the intake and exhaust systems specifically to produce their signature throaty, operatic roar. Hit Sport mode and every gear change is accompanied by a sound that belongs on a racetrack, not a city street.
8 speed gearbox transmission that is paired with one of the world's finest transmissions, gear changes are executed in milliseconds. Paddle shifters on the steering column let you take full manual control whenever the mood strikes. The steering wheel has a wood grain finish that again oozes that elegance and class.
The Ghibli's design is unmistakably Italian — long bonnet, sculpted flanks, and Maserati's iconic oval grille framing that legendary trident badge. This isn't a car that whispers; it announces itself. It’s perfect for a weekender in the hills or down by the coast, or even a daily with a bit of sporty comfort to nip around in.
The car has been cared for like one of my own, always garaged and washed regularly. I’m selling due to upgrading to a newer model as I fell in love with the power of the V8 (however am sad to see this one go as it is such a delight to drive and sounds so much better than the V8!).
The car comes with white leather interior, sunroof and apple car play capabilities (if you use a usb cable). I will organise a service/roadworthy before sale for the lucky buyer. Open to test drives and serious offers
