I am selling this car now while it remains in showroom condition with relatively low kms so that someone else can enjoy Holden's finest muscle car knowing that its the last one produced here in Australia. It is wonderful to drive and sounds terrific as well. It has more than ample power.
The vehicle was first registered by me on 30 May 2017 has been garaged under cover in Albury NSW ever since. It has done some town work, but most of the kms have been on the open road and freeways. The back seat has rarely been used and the front seats are in excellent condition as both drivers are relatively light weight and non-smokers.
The vehicle has been fully serviced and the service history is available for inspection. Further, you can discuss the car with the mechanic who has serviced the vehicle if you wish to do so, or you can arrange to have the vehicle (at your cost) professionally inspected before purchase.
The vehicle drives perfectly and no repairs are required.
The car has all the standard features for a 2017 SSV redline so I am not going to list them as that informatiion is readily available on this website and elsewhere. If you are reading this ad,then you will already know what features the car has. The only point of note is that being a VF2 it has the full bremro brakes and the new rear suspension change that Holden made to the VF2 gives the vehicle a ride/handling compromise that cars costing up to $200K cannot match.
The vehicle has been run on 98 octane fuel.
I am only willing to sell the vehicle to to someone who is willing to inspect it and collect it from Albury/Wodonga or at least have an agent do so. I am unlikely to engage with prospective purchaser if they are unwilling to arrange an inspection of sorts as a handover will be required to confirm the condition of the vehicle at the point of sale.
A test drive will be available, but a test drive by a prospective purchaser will be at my discretion.
Let me address the asking price as there are other models listed at a cheaper price. The reason you would want to purchase this vehicle over other cheaper offerings is if you are looking for a car in as "new condition", with low kilometres and if you might consider owning it as a longer term investment or just enjoy it now. My advancing years wont enable me to keep it long enough to see it appreciate in value like other discontinued models have. There is just something about a naturally aspirated V8 Holden that is unique . Sure, there are some other V8s around that might be worth considering but they are not in a 5 seater sedan layout and simply don't have the creed of a Holden V8. Further, the LS3 by all reports is an improvment on the LS2 in terms of power and smoothness.

All models are available in sedan and wagon form, and engine choices range from the base 185kW/290Nm 3.0-litre V6 Evoke through the 210kW/350Nm 3.6-litre V6 seen from SV6 upwards to the mighty 304kW/570Nm 6.2-litre LS3 V8 employed in SS variants. There's plenty of standard high-tech too, including hands-free parking and a rear-view camera, while head-up display, lane departure warning, blind spot alert and reverse traffic alert are available on selected models.
