PX MkII XL Cab Chassis Super Cab 4dr Man 6sp 4x4 1270kg 3.2DT A major presence in the light commercial segment, Ford's Ranger lineup comprises two-door, four-door "super" and double-cab cab-chassis/ute variants, motivated largely by a 147kW/470Nm 3.2-litre five-cylinder turbo-diesel " a smaller 118kW/385Nm 2.2-litre four-cylinder is used in some variants. It is available with rear-drive, or dual-range 4x4 driveline choices, and either six-speed manual or auto gearboxes. The five-star ANCAP-rated lineup begins with a two-passenger LX-spec cab-chassis and tops out with the Wildtrak double-cab ute, lavishly fitted out with part-leather trim, powered and heated bucket front seats, sat-nav, climate-control, lane-keep assist and 18-inch alloy wheels. The nominally one-tonne range can tow as much as 3.5 tonnes.
