Overview
UA Trend Wagon 7st 5dr Spts Auto 6sp 4WD 693kg 3.2DT (Apr) Ford's LCV-turned-SUV, the Everest, takes the strengths of the Ranger workhorse ute to create a refined, capable and well fitted-out seven-passenger family/off-road wagon. The engine is the same 143kW/470Nm five-cylinder turbo-diesel seen in the Ranger, while a coil-spring rear suspension softens the ride appropriately for a big SUV. Shorter overall than the Ranger, the Everest is nevertheless spacious for passengers and luggage and includes front and rear two-zone climate-control, and 10-speaker audio with active noise cancellation. At premium Titanium level, there's active cruise control, self-parking, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure and forward collision warning, as well as leather trim and powered front seats.
