F26 xDrive20i Wagon 5dr Steptronic 8sp 4x4 590kg 2.0T BMW is sticking to its fastback (SAC) Sports Activity Coupe programme with the latest, X3 (SAV) Sports Activity Vehicle based creation dubbed X4. The functions " accommodation, road capabilities " are is essentially the same as the X3 but the re-shaped roof contributes a sweeping profile more in keeping with suburban playgrounds than rocky, rutted tracks (which the X3 is not intended for anyway). The X4 offers a choice of four powerplants " two 2.0-litre four-cylinders (a 135kW/270Nm petrol and a 140kW/400Nm diesel), and two 3.0-litre sixes (a 225kW/400Nm petrol and a 230kW/630Nm diesel), all AWD and all hooking up to an eight-speed Steptronic auto transmission.
