Selling our 2016 Amarok, this vehicle was set up for long distance touring and the capability to go off road if we wanted to. The modifications carried out are as follows; TJM steel bull bar, Dobinsons 2” lift at front and replacement Dobinsons shocks at the rear so the suspension worked correctly ( this gives the vehicle a level stance), Recently upgraded Kings 7” driving lights and topped by a 28” lightbar (great at night). Engine has a Mann and Hummel catch can fitted and a new (12 months old) heavy duty battery, also has an I drive fitted. Inside the head unit has been replaced by an Alpine unit with Apple car play, has an Oricom UHF, the windows have been tinted. The vehicle has a genuine Volkswagen towbar fitted with a 7” lightbar hooked up to the reversing camera for use at night. The tub is fitted out with a “Bedrug” tub liner ( expensive but worth it,have a look online). The wheels originally were 16” and changed out for genuine 17” one for a better ride. This vehicle has been fastidiously maintained by us and service record is available. It was set up for long distance travel but was mainly used taking out two son to Canberra and the Southern Highlands for soccer and other sports as well as trips to the snow and some holidays in Queensland. No caravan or boat towing involved. Our reason for selling is our sons are grown up and we have purchased a vehicle more suited to just us.
