Overview
VDJ79R Workmate Cab Chassis Double Cab 4dr Man 5sp 4x4 4.5DT The fabled 70 Series Toyota LandCruiser workhorse has been around since 1984 and continues today with an extensive model lineup that runs from a two-door, two-seat cab-chassis to the iconic two-door, 10-seat Troopcarrier and the four-door GXL wagons. In between there are four-door cab-chassis models. Every variant is powered by a 151kW/430Nm 4.5-litre V8 turbo-diesel, universally driving through a five-speed manual transmission. The (part-time) four-wheel drive system is a serious, dual-range off-road arrangement and the fuel capacity, though it varies according to model, extends up to 180 litres to maximise the range.
