Selling my 2016 Toyota Hiace SLWB, the model with 2 sliding doors. 2.7l petrol, just clicked over 391000 kms (just run in as they say)
Set up with a bed in the back, easily removed for tradie or cargo van use.
Has sound deadening installed in most panels and a layer of insulation everywhere I could get to. I used car builder products as shown on the sliding door photo. Marine ply floor with same insulation under the whole floor. Access to fuel pump via a cut out section.
Has racks on the roof with a kickass solar panel with an Anderson plug inside.
The fridge works really well and can stay or I can take it out if you have no use for it. It’s only a kings and I’ll only need to buy another one but if it’s useful to you then it can stay. Also has a wheel arch water tank with a tap accessed via the drivers side sliding door. I think it’s 34 litres, maybe more.
The mattress is brand new, never slept on. Ecosa mattress in a box and super comfy. We took the one we were using and put it in our caravan (also the reason for selling this van) and bought a new one the same for the Hiace.
Runs really well. Full service history. It started life as a courier van and early on and at times was dealer serviced almost monthly while piling on the kms. Has a typicalcal body for the kms. A few chips and scratches as expected. The front bar has a bend where it has hit something. Ironically there is a shoo-roo fitted next to said bend but I have no idea what caused the bend. I have replaced the battery and alternator in my time with quality. Serviced about 6000 kms ago and all filters are new including the cabin. I also bought the wheels and tyres new since owning.
For camping I added the sliding door opening window and a roof hatch. In the back there is a sliding frame I had my pizza oven strapped down on. Talk about extravagance. This could be repurposed as a kitchen slide if needed. I never bothered fitting out the front and just put our stuff in crates. If you are a camper, I can add a loo and a cooker if you are starting out.

The ever-reliable HiAce offers a comfortable cab environment with all the necessary gear including Bluetooth connectivity, voice recognition, iPod/USB/MP3, air-conditioning and cruise control. In terms of safety, HiAce comes with dual front airbags, stability control, anti-lock brakes, a hill-holding system and a rear-view camera.
