B17 Series 2 SSS Sedan 4dr CVT 1sp 1.6T Following the Tiida experience that kicked off in 2006, Nissan Australia was happily reunited with the Pulsar name in 2013. The latest Pulsar is a capable small five-door hatchback or four-door sedan that serves up a veritable choice-fest for customers, from a basic 1.8-litre sedan or hatch to the feisty SSS that is also available in four or five-door form and uses a 140kW/240Nm 1.6-litre petrol turbo to deliver more than adequate punch. The other engine choice is a 96kW/174Nm 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol. There are two transmissions: A six-speed manual and a constantly-variable (CVT) system that can be teamed up with either engine.
