A driving delight
Well‑maintained, comfortable and genuinely enjoyable to drive — this 2016 Mazda CX‑5 diesel has been a fantastic car for us. The 2.2L turbo‑diesel delivers strong torque, smooth power and excellent fuel efficiency, paired with a 6‑speed automatic that shifts cleanly and predictably. Around town it's easy and light; on the open road it’s stable, quiet and confident.
Inside, the CX‑5 feels a class above: leather seats, heated fronts, memory settings for two drivers, Bose premium audio, sunroof, sat‑nav and dual‑zone climate control. It’s a comfortable place to spend long hours, and the cabin has been well cared for.
Safety is excellent with a 5‑star ANCAP rating and 6 airbags, plus reversing camera, active cornering headlights and keyless entry/start.
This car has been serviced on schedule, with the most recent service in Feb 2026.

There is superficial cosmetic damage, all from very low‑speed incidents (0–10 km/h):
- Rear nearside scrape from a tight carpark pillar
- Small rear dent from the tailgate contacting a low roof
- Minor nearside front dent from an unknown carpark bump (barely noticeable)
- The underside was professionally repaired under insurance after striking a rock — all damaged components were replaced.
- The nearside mirror motor no longer adjusts electronically, but the mirror itself is intact and adjusts manually.
- Front brake pads have approx. 2mm remaining.
