This is a very high quality example of a 2016 Ford Transit Custom. It is in first rate condition, it has been very well maintained since new and looks great in Moondust Silver with windows all around. It has never been in an accident, has no dents, very few minor scratches/paint chips, everything works perfectly. It is a pleasure to drive around town or on the highway and is very fuel efficient. It has a complete and comprehensive Ford Dealership only service history, from new. Comes with two keys and all the manuals.
This van optioned with the City Pack, which provides both front and rear parking sensors as well as a reversing camera. Coupled with its super tight turning circle, this van is really easy to park accurately. It also has a Hayman Reese tow bar/pack fitted and has a 2000kg braked towing capacity.
Additionally, I fitted tradie quality, woven jacquard seat covers to all three front seats. They are attractive enough and very durable. The previous owner being in and out of the van a lot during his working day, began to wear the upholstered edge of the driver's seat. This stopped that issue getting any worse.
I recently fitted 'top of line' Michelin Agilis 3 light commercial van tyres to this van and it has literally transformed its driving behaviour. It is now rock-solid stable at highway speeds even on rough, crap roads and has unbelievably strong wet weather grip. The van is a pleasure to drive.
I am the second owner of this van having purchased it from a Curtain and Blinds business just over four years ago. I immediately fell in love with owning, using and driving this van. I'm retired, so no real pressing reason to own a van, but boy it is so useful!!
Anyway, I have purchased a brand new Transit Custom Sport, so it is time to sell this one and move on.

VN 290S Van Low Roof SWB 4dr Man 6sp 2.2DT The Transit has come a long way since its introduction in the early 1970s. Today's versions come in short, medium, long-wheelbase and jumbo versions with three roof heights and a choice of two (diesel) power outputs. With the exception of the front wheel drive 280, they all drive the rear wheels. There are also Cab/chassis and 12-seat bus versions. All use a manual six-speed transmission. Payloads range from 6.55m3/1089kg through to 11.29m3/1440kg. Driver's airbag, ABS, air-conditioning, CD player, voice control Bluetooth, power windows and power side mirrors are standard, with front passenger airbag, side airbags, reversing camera and stability/traction control optional.
