V1 MY15 Premium Sedan 4dr Man 6sp AWD 2.0T Subaru really started something with its first Impreza WRX in 1994. Not many would have expected it then, but the turbocharged, 155kW/290Nm all wheel drive small car quickly gained attention and created a halo model for the until-then unobtrusive Japanese company. Now into its fourth generation, the WRX has become an unquestioned icon in terms of affordable high performance. The latest version reverts back to 2.0 litres but ups power to 197kW/350Nm and steps up to new levels of handling/roadholding. And the six-speed manual gearbox is supplemented by an effective CVT that does little to blunt performance.
