Total 100 Limited edition RCF in the world, only 7 car selling in Australia. This 2015 Lexus RC is engineered with a 5.0 litre engine and 351.0kW of power, reache 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds, only travelled 28000km!
Carbon Edition has suede interior finishes and the carbon fiber roof, bonnet and rear wing (saving 35kg so 1730kg). Bonnet feels crazy light, like 7kg.
Always garaged. Never tracked. No accidents, no. No smoking. No pets. Near showroom condition, still smells new.
Without an aftermarket exhaust system, a stock RC F sounds incredibly tame, there's only the slightest audible hint of the naturally aspirated V8. Now with this aftermarket exhaust the car growls even at low RPM as you cruise around city traffic. To hear what it sounds like, search "rc f PTS" on youtube. ● WHY BUY A RC F?
The RC F is the largest displacement production sport car that Japan has ever made and will likely ever make. LFA was 4.8, new GR FR will be 4.0. The RC F is the monster, the king. Just a bit heavy, so grab a carbon or track edition to lighten it up. USA muscle is great, just nowhere near as reliable as a japanese built car.
Zero mechanical issues since I purchased in 2019. Zero non-mechanical issues. Note that all vents on this car are functional, even the bonnet vent can be opened on non-rainy days if you want to maximize cooling.
● CARBON VS TRACK EDITION
Unlike the RC F Track Edition, this carbon edition vehicle has the TVD, a torque vectoring differential. The system uses electronically controlled clutches in the rear axle to distribute torque between the rear wheels dynamically. This allows for improved cornering, stability, and handling performance by sending more power to the outside rear wheel during turns, helping to reduce the problem with lower spec RC Fs, the understeer. The TVD has three modes: Standard, Slalom, and Track.
● WHY YOU CAN'T BUY ONE FROM THE SHOWROOM
2025 will be the final year of production of the RC F before they move to a 100% electric LFA and a smaller 4L Toyota GR. The LC500 is more of an GT cruiser (no F badge), not a real sports car , LC stands for 'Luxury Coupe', Toyota mechanics at the dealership say the Australia region won't get the "Final Edition" RC F in 2025, which is still the carbon edition (but without orange paint on offer). Australia hasn't sold the RC F for several years now, since there were some issues in meeting the side intrusion regs on those long doors the RC F boasts. The total number of RC F in Australia is now shrinking over time, potentially leading to financial appreciation of particularly the premier examples such as the carbon and track versions. "
