Released in Australia in October 2015, the Ford Everest is a 7 seat, 4x4 SUV, using the same platform as the Ford Ranger. Part of a trio, the Everest Ambiente sits alongside the more highly specified Trend and Titanium variants. Powered by a 3.2-litre diesel engine, mated to a six speed automatic transmission, the Everest is a genuine off-road contender with seven seats. The Ambiente, while the entry level, comes standard with Terrain Management System to cope with any off-road conditions.
