Great car with excellent fuel economy at just 5.5L per 100km – cheap to run and easy to drive. Perfect as a first car, to learn manual, or as a daily commuter to the station.
We purchased the car new and it has been a very reliable vehicle. It was serviced at Suzuki dealerships up to 2020 in line with the logbook, and since then has been regularly maintained by MyCar and a trusted local mechanic as documented in the logbook.
I’ve also completed the last two services myself, including:
- Engine oil & oil filter
- Air filters
Recent maintenance:
- Front brake pads and rotors replaced (early 2025)
The car has been well looked after and presents as a solid, dependable option, perfect for a first car, daily commuter, or runabout.
There are a few minor dents and scratches, but nothing unexpected for a car of this age. Happy to provide more detailed photos if requested.

FZ MY14 GL Hatchback 5dr Man 5sp 1.4i The Swift epitomises the essence of Suzuki. Without detracting from Kizashi or Grand Vitara, the Japanese small-car specialist has made a career out of designing and building smart, essentially-urban light-class vehicles. The five-door Swift has distinctive but appealing looks and a variety of grades spanning a relatively wide price range. The packaging is able to accommodate four adults quite comfortably and the hatchback configuration makes for versatile passenger/luggage combinations. Two engines; a 70kW/130Nm 1.4-litre and a 100kW/160Nm 1.6-litre and four transmissions; a five-speed manual, a conventional four-speed automatic and, on 1.6-litre versions, either a six-speed manual or a CVT.
