This has been my daily driver to & from work (Haltech) & has never missed a beat. It's a phenomenal car & I have given it a lot of care & treated it well. Let's dive into the history of the car in high detail. This is probably one of the most well serviced Mirages on the market. Included are also photos of the undercarriage showing no rust (except for the exhaust which is perfectly normal) or damage.
To start off, this car is absolutely perfect for a first car buyer & owner. The Mirage has a legendary fuel economy. Real world numbers I have got are 500 Km for 98 octane from it's 30 Litre tank.
It has a great air conditioner for those hot sunny days. It has electric power assisted steering (no need to flush the power steering fluid), front & rear power windows, Bluetooth connectivity & USB/AUX audio input. It has 6 airbags fitted for your safety with an impressive ANCAP safety rating of 5.
What I have done to this car is the following. Keep in mind that all parts that were replaced (that had a nut or bolt) have been torqued to spec with a Warren & Brown torque wrench in accordance with the Mitsubishi service manual.
* Genuine ENKEI rims (from the higher up Mirage sports model).
* New wheel nuts (genuine Mitsubishi).
* New slotted rotors (custom made by DBA).
* New brake pistons (genuine Mitsubishi).
* New brake fluid (triple flushed with Castrol Performance DOT-4).
* New brake pads (Bendix).
* New rear brake drums (DBA).
* New rear brake shoes (DBA).
* New brake hardware (shims, copper washers, etc are genuine Mitsubishi).
* New roof lining.
* LED interior light.
* Full air conditioning system flush.
* New floor mats (genuine Mitsubishi).
* New air conditioning cabin filter (genuine Mitsubishi).
* New driver & passenger seats (old seat had a damage bolster from previous owner).
* Full upholstery clean (spent 2 weeks stripping & detailing the car).
* New driver, passenger & rear windscreen wipers (genuine Mitsubishi).
* Oil changed recently (Valvoline 5W30).
* New oil filter (genuine Mitsubishi).
* Full coolant flush (Penrite Premium Green).
* New tyres with plenty of tread.
* LED headlights (Phillips).
* LED parkers & license plate lights (Phillips).
* Bar's Bugs wiper fluid.
* New exhaust hangers (polycarbonate).
* Window tint (helps reduce the heat & UV in summer).
* New NGK Iridium spark plugs.
* New exhaust bushings (genuine Mitsubishi).
* New accessory belt (genuine Mitsubishi).
* New transmission filters (primary & secondary filters genuine Mitsubishi).
* New transmission fluid (double-flushed with genuine Mitsubishi fluid).
* New Century battery (high performance variant).
* New boot latch (original one cracked & failed & replaced with a new genuine Mitsubishi one).
* New radiator cap (original one was leaking & replaced it with a new genuine Mitsubishi one).
* New $150 Snapshades windscreen visor (this thing is a must in summer & I will include it for free).
* Fog lights added from AliExpress (installed as the front bumper had one hole cut-out by the previous owner which looked odd).
Negatives
* Extremely light hail damage on the roof (barely even noticeable).
* A few tiny stone chips here & there from highway use.
* Front bumper has a slight crack above a fog light (previous owner).
* Rear window tint has been slightly damaged (previous owner).
* Fog lights are not currently wired up & are inoperable.
* Some minor dents here & there (previous owner).
Regrettable sale, but selling as I no longer have a need for this car as I also have a Mitsubishi Lancer. It's a fantastic little car & I enjoy driving it. Comes with 9 months of registration remaining. Will include a full tank of fuel for the new owner. Will also include some spare parts for future services. Also included are the original steel rims.

We haven't seen the Mirage badge for nearly ten years, and it's quite amazing what you get for your outlay at this end of the market these days. It's a four door for starters, with all the windows powered, the steering is electrically assisted, the driver's seat is height adjustable and there's all the modern connectivity required by the demographic it aims at " all in the base model ES. Okay you'll have to opt for the Sport or LS to get alloy wheels, rain sensing wipers, and dusk sensing headlights among other niceties, but safety wise the whole range gets six airbags for five ANCAP stars.
