You've climbed to the top of the heap here, but if you want, then the 5.5-litre twin turbocharged V8 can be optioned with an extra 24kW/60Nm, taking it to 410kW/760Nm. While the options list isn't as extensive as on the AMG road cars, there's still plenty to peruse. And to think you could be propelling around 2.5 tonnes to 100km/h in less than 4.8 seconds while you're at it. Pull up to the lights and the idle stop/start kicks in, contributing to the 11.8L/100km fuel figure.
