heavy duty clutch installed when I purchased the car at 200,000km. It has done almost no towing and has only ever towed a small camper trailer or box trailer.

this was originally an Optus techos ute, I am the third owner. it runs very well, is ridiculously good on fuel (better than 10litres/100km). It has always been serviced by my local mechanic in Caves Beach where I used to live. It doesnt use any oil, and has never let me down.
I have used it mainly for highway commute to work where its pretty much done 60km/day at 90km/h every day for 5 years, plus an occasional trip to the Louth Races.
great reliable solid clean and not thrashed up the beach ever. The only time it has been on a beach was once at the surf club to bring a gear trailer off the beach. there is no rust that I can find anywhere.
I have upgraded to a Cruiser, and this ute really needs to go. It is priced pretty low for a solid reliable capable ute.

Sharing much with the Ford Ranger the new BT-50 brings new-found refinement to the workman's ute. Still available as a cab/chassis, two/four door and extended cab styles it is diesel powered (two variants) via 4x2 or 4x4 arrangement. The ladder frame chassis is substantially improved both strength and NVH wise, plus, like most of its competitors, it has a much more car-like ambience. Payloads range from 1088-1271kg and towing from 2500-3350kg. Cargo volumes have been increased and tie-downs improved - there's even a reversing camera on certain models. The option range ensures individuality. Safety is excellent with five ANCAP stars.
