Yes, the WN Caprice V, the last Statesman Caprice model and they are not making any more. This one is so original and unmarked it would certainly suit a collector. These are no dents or scratches and all the paint is original. It has done almost all country driving and so, never received any parking area nicks or scratches. It even has its original brake pads back and front. There has been no paintwork done and no touch ups. The interior is just as good. The passenger's front seat and the rear seats look like noone has ever sat in them. Just about noone has. The driver's seat is almost as good. The car was used by a doctor for private use only and not to commute. It drives like new, so smooth and quiet on the road. These days you would need to buy a $200k plus Merc or BMW to match the power, ride and comfort. It is simply the most magnificent car to drive. So why are we selling it? The doctor/driver is now receiving a car in his salary package and no longer has any need for his own car.
The Caprice had a super service just before Christmas. Everything that could be serviced was serviced, engine, automatic, air conditioning, front suspension, rear suspension, rear diff, etc costing almost $4,000 (with receipts of course, with all new plugs, injectors, coils and leads etc. etc.). Brand new top of the line Michelin tyres were also fitted at the same time, all the way around, costing an additional $1500. This Caprice is so special in that it has just about every luxury feature as standard, like a head up display, genuine leather seats and two zone climate control.
It also has standard 19" alloy wheels, bluetooth, front parking sensors and iPod connectivity. The Caprice has USB audio input, rear parking sensors, cruise control, front & rear power tinted windows. DVD player also included with TV screens built into the rear of the front seats. Collision avoidance system etc. etc.. It also has six airbags to protect you and your family with an ANCAP safety rating of 5.
We are the second owners. We bought it ten years ago with 44,000 km on it. We have all the relevant receipts and the log book of course.
