With a new sense of refinement coupled to capacious load carrying abilities, as well as a range of powerful, economical engines, the latest Ranger is comfortable in a wide range of applications. Engines include a 122kW/226Nm 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol and two turbodiesels: a 110kW/375Nm 2.2-litre four-cylinder and a muscular 147kW/470Nm 3.2-litre five-cylinder. Diesels are Available in 4x2 (2.2-litre) and 4x4 form (2.2 and 3.2-litre), while the petrol 2.5-litre comes as a manual-transmission 4x2 only. Payloads range from 1.0 to 1.4 tonnes.
