Hi all,
PRICE DROP $13k! suspected issue with temp sensor wiring, don't have time to sort (likely easy fix just don't have time with very busy schedule), check engine light comes on sometimes then goes, already have another car looking to buy, cheap already for someone who can fix for very cheap will be very happy
Up for sale is my VW Amarok TDI420 Ultimate 8sp auto, car has just over 161k on the clock, comes with log books and spare key. Some of the added benefits of the ultimate over the regular Amaroks include leather and heated seats as standard, side steps, dual zone climate control and so on. Car has a couple additions on the car:
- larger silicone inlet to turbo
- electronic throttle controller
- digital read out of engine temp, load and voltage
- has been tuned, improved efficiency (approx 9L/100km in mostly Sydney traffic) but still moves if you need to
- EGR replaced by previous owner, when tuned EGR was turned off
- DPF was changed around same time
- car also comes with roll n lock, lined rear tray, and I believe genuine VW tow hook and connector
Recently serviced, last service included transmission fluid change. Rego til June, tyres brakes etc all good, priced to sell. Will swap for NB2 MX5 SE cash ontop, MX5 or similar jap soft tops, cash either way depending on car

The line-up starts with the 90kW/340Nm, 2WD turbodiesel, (or the new 118kW/300Nm, petrol turbo) Cab Chassis Single or Dual Cab, and culminates with the 132kW/400Nm, 4WD TDI400 Ultimate Utility Dual Cab. There's also the 8-speed auto on higher models. It's a seriously tough nut, with full chassis, double wishbone front-end, and live leaf-sprung rear axle.
