Overview
The 4008 Wagon comes in both front and AWD, in Active or Allure spec. There's only one engine, the 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol, which it shares with its genetic partner, the Mitsubishi ASX. Indeed the 4008 is manufactured in Japan. There are marked styling differences and even dimensional changes to the chassis. An up market approach and better sound proofing gives the cabin a different feel to the ASX. Pricing is well contained though for the young family demographic it aims to attract, with equipment levels and safety features getting the nod. Yet to be rated, it's likely to equal the ASX's five ANCAP stars.
