BRAND NEW ENGINE!
This vehicle has just been fitted with a genuine new Mitsubishi replacement engine (not a rebuilt engine) and has done 5kms since.
Basically, this model originally had an engine defect where the block deck was not machined adequately causing engine failure.
To Mitsubishi’s credit, they replaced my engine after almost 250,000kms, no reservations whatsoever. Obviously, the replacement engines do not have this defect so this car is good to go for hundreds of thousands of kms from here.
I am the second owner of this car and whilst it is a bit rough on the outside due to sun damage, I have always serviced and maintained the vehicle its entire life.
This will make a great starting vehicle for a tradie that doesn’t want to spend a lot of money, but have the reliability of a new engine coupled to a durable 4WD vehicle.
