This is a well-cared-for, enthusiast-owned example of the final facelift NC MX-5, presented in excellent condition and thoughtfully upgraded for improved handling and driving enjoyment.
I am the second owner, having purchased the car in 2016 at 36,000 km while still under factory warranty in Queensland and then driven back to Tasmania. Since then it has been used sparingly, always garaged, maintained carefully, and kept on a trickle charger when not taking my wife and I cruising around the island.

Overview
Already regarded as zippy, the updated series 2 MX-5 offers the driver an extra 500rpm to play with, for a headier taste of Zoom-zoom. The 2.0-litre DOHC four-cylinder petrol engine now develops 118kW@7,000rpm and 188Nm@5,000rpm. The extra revs are there to extract more enjoyment from the manual version. Steering has been sharpened up with revised front suspension geometry. General opinion says they've got it pretty well right. The powered hardtop has a competitive opening and closing time of twelve seconds and even though more than 30 kgs are added to the equation, dynamics remain uncompromised. Its problems now are the BRZ and the 86.
