Overview
The Wrangler is Jeep's representative in the genuine down and dirty 4x4 stakes, much like Land Rover's Defender. Where it excels though is in the areas of modern day necessities like engine/transmission options and more importantly, safety. There are the options of 2.8-litre turbodiesel or 3.6-litre V6 petrol motors, with six-speed manual and five-speed auto transmissions. Then there are the inclusions of airbags, stability control, roll-mitigation and all-terrain traction control. Two or four-door - hard or soft-top, you've got the choice of Overland, Sport or Rubicon, with Unlimited versions of the three, and they're all capable of being substantially optioned up.
