I’ll be said to see it go. The Volt was the most popular plug-in hybrid in the USA and Europe for several years running but it is one of only 40 Volts sold in Western Australia.
Being a 4th generation hybrid, it has a large enough battery to operate like a battery-only electric car but it also has a 1.2 litre engine which gives it a combined range of over 500km at an insanely low consumption of less than 2L per 100kms.
It’s been a brilliant car, costing next to nothing to own and run and it’s never skipped a beat. It’s a great car to drive with smooth electric acceleration.
This car has been ahead of its time. It has a futuristic but luxury interior and the car has been well looked after, it’s in immaculate condition .
It has all the modern tech such as a Bluetooth, a proximity remote control, voice recognition, adaptive cruise control, heated seats, SatNav, lane departure warning, brake assist, a huge reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, as well as a heap of airbags including front, side and knee.
