I am the 2nd owner since new, have owned the car for 6 years. I replaced same model of car when my original Territory was wiped out in an accident. Ford's Territory joins the trend towards lower fuel consumption and emissions with the introduction of a 140kW/440Nm turbodiesel and improved figures for the petrol six. In rear-wheel-drive form the diesel returns 8.2L/100km, and the 195kW/391Nm petrol uses 10.6L/100km. Aiding these figures are the across-the-board six-speed auto and the newly adopted electric power-steering. Packaging remains familiar with Falcon style controls, but there are big improvements to NVH, and the interior now matches current interface trends. AWD models run the diesel exclusively (8.8L/100km) and the whole range can claim driveability refinements worthy of its high-end European and Japanese competitors.
