Overview
Ford's range wide introduction of the Ecoboost Falcon is a milestone for the company. The high-tech, all alloy, tubocharged four-cylinder petrol engine represents Ford's global approach to the future. At half the capacity of the local six-cylinder variant, it produces similar power, uses less fuel and emits lower counts of CO2. Being appreciably lower in weight has dictated a re-tuning of the suspension, maintaining that familiar Falcon ride and handling. Safety has been market-aligned with side airbags and rear parking sensors, with a new stability control system across the entire range. Pricing remains the same as the six-cylinder line-up.
