The AWD XC70 (based on the V70) has been updated with improved engine power and efficiency for both the 3.0-litre petrol six and the five cylinder 2.4 turbodiesel. Set up with a soft ride the vehicle offers excellent ambiance and quality appointments. The new Teknik version adds safety and comfort features optional on other variants, even though the whole range does get an "Emergency Brake Light (EBL)" system (which strobes the brake lights under extreme braking conditions and activates the hazard lights when the car reaches 10km/hr from that state), improved side impact systems and comprehensive option "Packs" for both safety and comfort.
