The Jetta sits somewhere between the Golf and Passat - while it uses Golf tech, it actually isn't all that much smaller than its larger sibling. Its forte lies in the general packaging and power-trains. The 118TSI 1.4-litre petrol engine, for instance, represents the latest thinking in the power/economy equation.
