Overview
The five/seven seat Kluger, being available as a front-wheel-drive or full-time all-wheel-drive puts it firmly in the camp of the soft-roader, family car. Right in the middle with the likes of the Ford Territory, Holden Captiva, Kia Sorento, et al. A 201kW/337Nm petrol V-six, driving a five-speed auto, powers all models. From the base KX-R, through to the Grande, you can expect typical Toyota fare with increasing levels of equipment and luxury as you climb the range. Safety equipment levels are consistent though, with ABS, traction/stability control, and plenty of airbags range-wide for a five-star ANCAP rating.
