Overview
One of the earliest players in the compact SUV market, the T31 X-Trail (now series V) is still well received. Standard equipment includes hill descent/start assist, intelligent 4X4, cruise control, map lights, trip computer, driver's seat height adjustment, heated/cooled cup holders, roof rails, load tie down hooks and roof rails. It also has a healthy 2000kg "braked" towing capacity. The latest parking innovation is the "Around View Monitor" which interprets images from four perimeter cameras onto an overhead view, showing the driver a satellite type view of where the car sits in its surroundings. Safety wise, all models have six airbags, ABS, and stability/traction control.
