Overview
Based on the IS250 chassis, The IS-F is an amalgam of performance enhancements from many quarters - a relatively free reign given to the performance minded in Toyota's employ. Think M series, RS or AMG, and we're on the same page. You get a rorty 5.0-litre engine hooked up to an 8-speed auto with all manner of control, driving 19x9-inch rear BBS alloys (19x8 up front) with 255/35-225/40 Bridgestones and Brembo brakes. The Sachs suspension, while appropriately tuned, remains quite supple. Styling is understated aggressive, with a bulbous bonnet, flared guards, vented quarter panels and strangely superfluous quad exhaust tips.
