BRILLIANT FIRST CAR!
For anyone who has ever driven a Lexus CT200h - you will know what fabulous cars these are! I’m a very reluctant seller as I have fallen in love with this car. Like some other owners with a Lexus CT200h - there is unfortunately a time when you outgrow them. As I have. I’ve owned this baby for nearly 5 years, and have kept it in great condition. It hasn’t been modified in any way, and is a standard factory package.
This car has just purred for me since I bought it, and I’ve had absolutely no problems at all. I have replaced the tyres while owning it. It has been to Canberra from Sydney a couple of times, and simply takes that trip in its stride.
This car has the 1.8L engine with the hybrid regenerative braking system. It’s fuel economy would be in the 4.5-5.0L / 100km range depending upon your mix of town driving v motorway driving.
The exterior colour is the beautiful Lexus Onyx, which while it can look black, is however a gorgeous deep purple-ish colour which sparkles in the sunshine. Interior is black.

Transplanting the drive-train from the Prius into the Ct200h gives Lexus a much more affordable package in the luxury hybrid market. The 73kW/142Nm 1.8-litre petrol joins forces with a 60kW electric motor to deliver 4.1L/100km and 95g/km in emissions. Drive to the front wheels is via a CVT, and jaunts anywhere up to 2 kms (under 40km/h) utilize battery power. The four models - Prestige, Luxury, F-Sport (different suspension tuning and shocker ratings) and Sport Luxury, all comply with the Lexus luxury creed. Safety runs to eight airbags, model wide, with the Pre-Collision Safety system available in the Sport Luxury.
