With great regret we have to sell our Kia Optima 2012 model; we have held onto it for longer than we ever planned. It has been a good car.
Ever reliable, with plenty of space; we have owned it since the Odometer read 29,000 kms. It is a real head-turner, has always been garaged & has never let us down.
The boot space is large & on trips away we have often taken more than we really need just because there has been space to do so.
However the time has come in our lives where "too many birthdays" have caught up with us & we have found that the car is too low for us & we need a "more sensible" car to better cater for the grandbabies.
Of course there are a couple of things that no longer work, that we didn't consider critical to replace such as the LED running lights & the motor for the folding wing mirrors on RHS of the car. There are also a couple of small dents on the bonnet.
It has been a fantastic car to own; even the CD player still works!
My personal favourite feature is the sunroof for the sense of space & freedom it provides, while my wife's favourite is the heated (& cooled seats option which she loves on the cooler winter mornings, and in summer.
Makes a perfect first car!
