Overview
The larger, well-equipped KK Jeep Cherokee Limited has improved cabin (leather) quality over its previous incarnation, and even though it competes against the Holden Captiva, Mazda CX-7 and the Toyota Kluger, its genuine off-road ability (in 4x4 guise) means the Nissan Pathfinder is probably its natural competitor. The 3.7-litre petrol V6 produces 151kW/314Nm and delivers 11.7L/100km, riding on 18-inch alloys. There are six airbags, antilock brakes with off-road calibration, traction control, stability control, electronic roll mitigation, plus individual tyre pressure monitoring, and they're all standard. All Cherokees have rear parking sensors, but there's still no option of a reversing camera.
