Overview
Holden chose Korea to source its Barina in late 2005, bringing immediate financial advantages to customers, along with a more competitive edge in this ultra price-sensitive market segment. The newly styled TM hatch (Nov 2011) has been joined by the sedan, sporting the same 1.6-litre 85kW/155Nm 16-valve DOHC engine and the same equipment levels. This embraces six airbags, all the expected safety electronics, air-conditioning, central locking and four-speaker MP3, USB, Bluetooth, CD audio. It's pretty spacious inside for a light car and carries a boot capacity of 502 litres. Transmissions are five-speed manual or six-speed auto.
