Base on the previous Focus platform, the Kuga is German made for the compact SUV market and slated to replace the existing Escape. Indeed, it is itself to be also updated in 2013. The two variants - Trend and Titanium - share engine/transmission specs, with the latter getting larger alloys, leather interior and a range of higher tech appointments. Competing against the VW Tiguan, Subaru Forester, Renault Koleos and Toyota RAV4 it sits at the higher end, equipment and price wise, but falls behind in interior space, towing capacity and 'must have' gear of some.
