e-Hdi turbodiesel models are Citroen's tilt at maximising fuel economy. What you get is an automatic clutch manual with auto shifting ability, and an engine stop-start system that recharges a capacitor under braking. In turn, it is used to start the dormant engine when you take off from a standstill. It all comes together with a handy reduction in diesel consumption.
