Princess is reluctantly up for sale, as my wife and I embark on home renovations. People always gush about their car, but this Vantage V8S has been maintained principally for show use (inc. with the Aston Martin Owners Club - I am a member of the local and worldwide club). In my opinion my car is the ultimate representation of the VH era Vantage, with the features below making its timeless shape look sharp alongside even current 2026 models.
If you are a fan of genuine carbon fibre then this is the car for you, factory features include:
Carbon side blades (behind the front wheels)
Carbon front and rear diffusers
Carbon mirrors
Carbon tail light blades
Carbon wheel caps (a truly indulgent order from Aston Martin works at over $1,200 for the set and not even fitted as standard to the million $ new vanquish)!
Carbon interior waterfall (a massive step forward over the scratch magnet piano black std).
In addition to the Carbon waterfall, I replaced all the traditional plastic buttons with glass ones. As well as all new black Aston wheel nuts also from Aston martin works UK.
Collectively over $45,000 of carbon trim compared with a standard V8 of the era. It is important to understand the difference between the V8 and the V8S Vantage. Redbook values explaining the differences inc. gearbox, power and features, new over $21,000 difference in price to base model! The Vantage GT which was the run out model in later years had a more paired down list compared to the V8S (a nameplate reintroduced by Aston Martin in 2025 for their high powered variants).
I have owned this car for the last 5 years having previously owned before it a V12S and an original V8, and I can say the V8S is the real sweet spot of the model line up with most of the body mods of the V12S without the extra weight of the V12 up front.
Consistent to its time doing shows for the 5 years I have owned it, it has had XPEL Stealth PPF on it, done by Sydney experts Australian Detailing Services (hence some of the pictures show the Matt Stealth paint protection). For the avoidance of doubt about the paint being perfect as I claim, I have had this PPF removed. The Matte PPF or clear can be re-applied for around $11,000.
I spent time post the sale of my V12S to find the perfect replacement show car. I found this in Victoria where it had been the proud possession of an owner who had also embellished love on it. It is very common when inspecting used Vantage and Vanquish of this era that the $5,000 Crystal key is missing, these are often presented with the plastic valet/service key. This is likely the only Aston Delivered new with the 2nd valet key also being Crystal and both will be sold with the car!
Given the reason for sale, I will also include my factory OEM soft Aston Martin interior cover with the car, these again are worth over $1,000.
The car has just completed its annual service at Aston Martin Sydney and comes with 12 months registration to give you piece of mind.
Please no tyre kickers, I have been lucky that each Vantage I have sold to the first to see it and they were genuine buyers. I am not interested in haggling if you are motivated to buy this model, you will buy this car.
