The shorter wheelbase Caddy Life, absent for two years, has returned to compete in the five and seven-seat MPV segment. The Euro 5 turbocharged 1.6-litre diesel produces 75kW/250Nm, with the choice of five-speed manual or twin-clutch, seven-speed DSG transmission. The front-drive Life offers good space for five or seven passengers and is a bit more refined than the Maxi van. The Wagon gets dual front (side optional) airbags plus stability control. Power front windows, 'Climatic' air-conditioning and a six-speaker CD audio are standard. Rear parking sensors and 16-inch alloy wheels are optional.
