Peugeot certainly unleashed the lions with release of their supercar styled RCZ. Based on the 308 platform, it is nevertheless unique. For a start it is Austrian built, and somewhat surprisingly, the three iterations come in at the same price. For your hard-earned, the options are a 147kW/275Nm 1.6-litre petrol, or 120kW/340Nm 2.0-litre diesel - both turbocharged six-speed manuals, with the option of a six-speed auto on a de-tuned 1.6. The killer standout feature though is the twin-bubble roof, possibly un-noticed at first, but once spotted it brings the whole concept together, setting it apart from anything it would otherwise be compared too.
