The Triton-based Challenger has a full chassis and a live rear axle that augur well for off-road work, while an overlay of sophistication makes it more comfortable and car-like. With five and seven-seat variants, a tough 131kW/400Nm 2.5-litre turbodiesel and the choice of five-speed manual or auto transmissions it's a practical conveyance that competently addresses safety.
