Overview
Prior the introduction of the long-wheel-base R350, the R300 had the line-up to itself. With a substantial gain in power and AMG equipment levels for the 350, it's reflected in the extra outlay. Both AWDs are powered by the turbodiesel 3.0 V6 which puts out 140kW/440Nm or 195kW/620Nm and returns 9.3L/100km or 8.5L/100km, meaning the 350 is faster and more economical. The 235mm extra wheelbase adds over 400-litres in luggage space. Both model's safety equipment includes eight airbags, ABS, stability control with trailer assist, traction control, hill start/descent assist and adaptive brake lights that increase intensity and flashing rate accordingly.
