The SP25 represents the '3' series flagship/sports model and as such receives upgrades that don't apply to the rest of the range. The major change is the addition of a 2.5-litre in-line four-cylinder DOHC petrol engine which produces 122kW/227Nm and returns 8.6L/100km. Paddles on the steering wheel allow manual control of the 'Activematic' auto. 17-inch alloys and larger brakes are standard, along with its distinctive body kit and interior treatment. Of course all the top line '3' safety features are there ' six airbags, stability control ABS etc. Unique options include a powered sunroof, leather seat trim and a Bose sound system.
