Overview
Two decades on, and there's still no doubt the Discovery is a competent off-roader. The Series 4 concentrates on improving on-road behavior, more modern looks and equipment levels, bringing it closer to the Mercedes ML and BMW X5 models, while maintaining its off-road credibility. The SE now comes standard with 19-inch alloys, the new driver information system, seven-seat accommodation, leather trim, cornering lamp xenon headlights and folding mirrors. The additional third-row of seating is also appointed with lighting and all occupants are protected by airbags. Power comes from a 180kW/600Nm 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel.
