Overview
Kia's K2700 and K2900 two-door cab-chassis workhorse is an answer to those requiring a decent load volume without necessarily going to high payload capabilities. The K2900 was launched here in 2008, bringing a more powerful 2.9-litre turbodiesel four-cylinder engine developing 92kW, along with a significant torque jump to 245Nm ' produced at 2000rpm. The bigger engine is also more economical. Standard transmission remains a five-speed manual, but the load capacity increases, in cab-chassis form, to 1.7 tonnes-plus. Standard equipment reflects the workhorse nature of the K2900, running out at central locking, air-conditioning, power windows and two-speaker CD audio.
