2012 Hyundai iMax Van - setup as camper
Well cared for 2012 Hyundai iMax Van.
Motor and running gear have been well looked after. The rear main seal on the motor was just replaced due to an oil drip and a new brake vacuum pump installed at the same time, as if it fails the transmission needs to be removed. The front suspension has been replaced over the past 18 months, with new struts, lower control arms, brushes and sway bar rubbers.
The van has Bluetooth connectivity, dual battery, 1500W inverter, roof racks, side awning, towbar, alloy wheels, roadworthy Goodyear tyres, split front armchair seats allowing access between the front and the back of the van.
Rego paid for the next year (due Jan 2027)
Setup as camper with various seating options:
Front two seats only and bed/underbed storage box (as shown in pictures, provides the most room as camper).
Add second row of 2 or 3 seats (so that the van can seat 4 or 5 people) and retain bed/underbed storage box.
The third row of seats can be added (so that the van seats 8) if the bed/underbed storage box is removed.
All of the removed seats come with the van as they are required to be fitted for a RWC.
The bed box has a hinged front which allows the second row of 2-3 seats to be used if desired.
The bed is slightly smaller than a normal double bed (once the hinged section is folded out). The mattress is 150mm high density foam mattress from Clark Rubber (very comfortable). There is a privacy curtain behind the front seats, curtains on the slider doors and the rear window on the back tailgate. The back two side windows are covered with silver sunshades.
It's been a fantastic camper and I'll be sad to part with it, but it doesn't get used anymore.
$9,900 without a RWC
Needs a windscreen ($300) and probably brake pads for RWC
