2011 Holden SS Thunder VE Series II Ute | 6.0L V8 | Karma Blue
Immaculate example of a VE Series II SS Thunder in Karma Blue. This is a genuine, well cared for car that presents extremely close to new inside and out.
Currently sitting on 165,500 kms.
I purchased the vehicle from the previous owner, who bought it from the original owner that took delivery in November 2011 from Capalaba Holden. This makes me the third owner, and it has clearly been looked after its entire life.
The car has never been in an accident and remains very original, with only tasteful upgrades.
It has just had a full recent service and is mechanically spot on. The car needs nothing and is ready to drive away.
A huge amount of preventative maintenance has been carried out, including replacement of belts, harmonic balancer, bearings, gaskets, seals, hoses, filters, oils, fluids, plugs, rubbers, latches, wheel bearings and tyres. It has been properly gone over with no expense spared.
Upgrades include:

• 3” X-Force stainless exhaust system
• High performance tune
It drives exactly how a V8 should and sounds unreal.
Interior has been upgraded with:
• Apple CarPlay integrated into the factory IQ system
• Upgraded Bluetooth system

It has also had high quality ceramic paint protection, and the condition reflects that.
I originally bought this car with the intention of keeping it stored and using it as a weekend cruiser, but due to a change in circumstances it’s become an expensive novelty sitting in the shed.
This is honestly one of the cleanest examples you will find for its age. It is extremely tidy, untouched, and presents almost like new. You will struggle to find another SS Thunder in this condition.

Five years on and Holden has re-introduced the limited edtion Thunder, based on the existing Series II VE SS and SV6 models. Basically you get 19-inch five spoke charcoal alloys, sat-nav, sport seats with leather bolsters and Thunder badging. Holden quotes it as $3000 worth for free. Designed as a celebration of sixty years since the introduction of Holden's first ute (officially the 50-2106 Coupe Utility, but popularly known as the "FX"), power comes from the 210kW 3.6-litre SIDI V6 or the 270kW 6.0-litre V8 (260kW in auto transmission form).
